Valeisha Butterfield Jones and Panos A. Panay are set to begin as co-presidents of the Recording Academy on Monday, August 6th. Butterfield Jones will also continue to oversee diversity initiatives, whereas the Berklee College of Music exec Panay will simultaneously serve as chief revenue officer.

Hal Leonard has promoted Groove3 founder Asa Doyle to chief technology officer and tapped 9-year company veteran Chris Koszuta to fill the newly created position of VP of digital and e-commerce.

5-year Universal Music Group higher-up Alejandro Duque will begin as president of Warner Music Latin America “at the start of October.”

Warner Music’s WEA has promoted Ernst Trapp to president of global e-commerce and retail. Trapp will continue serving as CEO of Lingen, Germany-headquartered EMP Merchandising, with Scott Cherkin filling the newly created role of SVP of audience strategy at WEA.
